Indoor Soccer Night
uPalmy's renowned indoor soccer team (formerly known as Rotary) in the Massey University indoor soccer league has won two consecutive titles, Champions of 2009 Semester 1 and Champions of 2009 Semester 2. If you are a sports person looking for some fancy footwork every Thursday night, join the team by contacting Khairul Abidi at iluvmarjan@yahoo.com.
Ladies Swimming Night
The Freyberg Community Pool in collaboration with Massey Muslim Society, Manawatu Muslim Association and Burmese community is hosting a women's only swimming night.
Where?
Freyberg Community Pool, Thames Street, Palmerston North
When?
Last Saturday of every month, 6.00-7.00pm
Cost?
$2.00 per swimmer. This includes an in water aqua aerobics fitness class from 6.30-7.00pm with an experienced female instructor.
Come along, have fun and experience a different form of fitness and fun. Lane & casual swimming will also be available. Women life guards will be on duty.

Occasionally, uPalmy holds activities off campus such as annual trips, picnics and sports. Study Circles
uPalmy hosts weekly study circles (halaqah) on campus in Massey University. The gathering is accompanied by Qur'anic recitation and Hadeeth studies, followed by short Islamic talks, discussions, movies, food and games. We also post beneficial articles on this website as food for thought for the general public.
